Making a Difference…..

Civitan is a worldwide, all volunteer service organization where men and women have an organized way of approaching local community problems through service and fund raising.

The Florence Civitan Club operates locally with volunteer members giving their time to make their community a better place to live.  Our Mission is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs.  In short, we are looking to build a better world, together. Individual local clubs help support people by participating in fundraisers, as well as other community service projects put together by the clubs themselves. However, Civitan also places an emphasis on meeting and getting to know new people (fellowship), as well as attaining knowledge (through speakers and informative programs).
